Known worldwide for its jet-setting crowd and its nightlife, there is—however—so much more to Mykonos:
Over 20 gorgeous beaches—most are organized with umbrellas and sun beds—while others are more secluded, and all are easily reachable by car or scooter, taxi or bus.
The main town is a maze of traditional narrow streets, curving through white-washed houses and boutique shops. Daytime one experiences a sense of tranquillity and peace, whilst the island transforms in the evening and the town comes alive with tourists and locals sitting outside at the many restaurants and bars. Eating in Mykonos is a true culinary experience; from top beach restaurants to gourmet cuisine in town—the food offered is fresh, healthy and delicious. Enjoy the rest of your evening with a cocktail and good conversation, or join the rest of Mykonos and its exciting nightlife.
Watch the magical sunset overlooking the famous Little Venice area, with the familiar windmills perched above the town.
The islanders maintain there's a magical energy to Mykonos that makes you feel alive—come and experience it for yourself!
Several airlines fly directly to Mykonos International Airport from many European cities. There are also direct flights from Athens via Olympic Air and Aegean Airlines.
If boat is your choice of travel, there are daily fast catamarans from Athens. The trip takes anywhere from 2-4 hours, depending on the type of boat.
