Highlights of the tour
Begin by exploring Athens, as well as Plaka - the city's old quarter with its characteristic neo-classical buildings, taverns, cafes and narrow streets. Visit the Parthenon, and the New Acropolis Museum.
Embark towards the ancient fortified city of Mycenae, birthplace of the Mycenaean civilization which traces its roots back four millennia, to the Bronze Age. In the Homeric poem Iliad, the Mycenean king Agamemnon gathered the Greek forces and sailed to attack Troy, in the infamous Trojan War.
Olive trees are native to the Mediterranean region, a part Greece since the onset of Greek civilization. That's why you'll visit an olive oil Domaine and sample the various kinds of olive oil produced.
Visit the imposing Theater of Epidaurus, designed in the 4th century BC, and used in dramatic performances until today.
Be enchanted by the seaport town of Nafplion, Greece's first capital and one of the most romantic cities in Greece. The Franks, Venetians and Turks have all left their architectural and cultural mark on the city.

Become acquainted with the Oracle of Delphi which played an important role from the pre-classical period onwards, with treasuries built by Greek city-states being full of offerings in thanks for the Oracle's sound advice.
Mystical places aren't confined to ancient and classical times - as you'll find out at your stay in Kalambaka. The town is at the foot of the Meteora which mean "suspended in mid-air." What's suspended in mid-air are six Orthodox monasteries, built on pillars of sandstone. Dating back to the late 11th century AD, the area has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage site. There, you'll visit two Meteora monasteries, and take part in a local Iconography workshop to see first hand how Orthodox icons are made.
Upon arrival at Athens Airport, you will be privately transferred to a Hotel in Athens. The rest of your day will be your leisure time within the city and in Plaka, the old quarter in Athens.

Breakfast at the hotel. Get ready because Day two marks an adventure-packed day with a city tour of Athens. We will be visiting world-renowned destinations such as the Acropolis site, the Parthenon and The New Acropolis Museum.
Breakfast at the hotel, and we will shortly depart for Corinth Canal. We will be given our time to take a short photo stop and admire the vistas. Thereafter, we will proceed to the Mycenae site and museum. We will also visit of an olive oil Domaine for olive oil tasting. Overnight in Nafplion.
Following breakfast at the hotel, we will engage in a short walking tour of Nafplion. Then, we will drive to Olympia. Here, we will be traveling back in time, visiting prized archaeological sites.
Overnight in Olympia.
Breakfast at the hotel and then immediately after, we’ll be preparing for a tour at the Olympia Museum. Our mythical exploration continues as we drive to Delphi through Rion/Antirion Bridge.
Overnight in Delphi.
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, we will be visiting the Delphi site and Museum. We’ll continue with our expedition and tour Kalambaka.
Overnight in Kalambaka.
Visit of two of the Meteora Monasteries and a local Iconography workshop to see how the Icons are made. Drive to Athens with short stop at Thermopylae.
