When we hear “The Middle East,” what first comes to mind?
It isn’t always something positive, I know. Too bad. Because if you ask me, it’s such a pity people think that way. There is just so much to discover in this region.
The region is always neglected because of matters of safety and a lot more negativity. But I tell you, the Middle East is worth visiting. For once, the region is the cradle of civilization. History buffs, prepare! This is your heaven on earth!
One region alone to house Alexander the Great, Rome and Persia is too much to handle. All these, and more, have left their marks on world history. And all these are in the Middle East.
We have the Persians and the Egyptians. Then, we have the Ottomans. All these and other groups were building monuments in their honor left and right. It seems like monument-building was a hobby in this part of the world!

And finally, meet amazing and warm-hearted people. Friendly and outgoing, the people from the Middle East are some of the most hospitable ever!
I assure you, you’ll most likely come back even before you know it.
And most important of all, a visit to the Middle East is quite an experience. You get to see vast deserts and mega cities. You get to meet the rich that drive cars of gold. You get to see countries that churn out oil from every corner.
If you ask me, it is a humbling experience.
You see, the Middle East is more than what you hear on TV. It is rich. It is vibrant. It is culturally-diverse. It ticks off all the requirements for a great holiday destination.
